So much is happening here in the Moriarty-Edgewood School District. One of our goals is to help keep you informed of all the changes and positive activities taking place on our campuses.


Pintos Soccer Camp

Pintos Soccer CampWe welcome soccer players of all ages and experience levels to join us July 9-10 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the field at Edgewood Middle School. Our MHS soccer players and coaches will teach and refine the soccer skills you need to succed. RSVP via e-mail to Jordan Allcorn or call 505-980-5668. Wear your cleats and shin guards and bring in the completed registsration form on the first day of camp. We're looking forward to teaching you to make the goal!


Mirage Dance Camp

Mirage Dance CampJoin the Mirage Dance Team for a fun filled dance experience! Dance camp will run June 18-20. Camp is open to grades two through eight.  Please view our flier for all the details.


 


Girls Volleyball Camps

Girls Volleyball Camp August 5-7, 2013Three helpful days of volleyball instruction for both high school and middle school students will take place August 5-7. Middle school girls will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. High school girls will meet from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Athletes will spend time developing basic skills and using them in game situations. Free! Summer Track Activities

Summer Twi-Light Track MeetsWe encourage all ages to participate in our Summer Twi-Light Track Meets. These track activities are for the entire family, and they are free! The meets will be June 4, June 11, June 18, and June 25 at 6:30 p.m. Please view this flier for additional information.

 


 


Truck Raffle winner
The Raffle Results Are In!

The 6th Annual Athletic Truck Raffle results are in!  A huge thank you to everyone who participated. We had 20 raffle prizes valued from $100 to $23,000. Some of the big winners were:

  • 2012 Silverado Truck - Brandon Jenkins
  • 2006 Chevy Cobalt - Jeanette Chavez
  • 2013 Polaris Sportsman 400 ATV - Richard Kingsbury

Preschool Registration Now Open

Preschool RegistrationAttention parents! We invite all three-and-four-year-old children to register for MESD Early Childhood Center Preschool. MESD ECC now offers two years of Pre-K and Kinder Readiness to increase your child's potential throughout his/her school career. The program will take place at Mountain View Elementary School, and it will provide your child with quality instruction two full days a week in the subjects such as early literacy, math, socialization, developmental play, and enrichment class. We believe preschool leads to school success, and we want to give your child the best chance to achieve his/her full potential in school. If you are interested, we've listed the eligibility requirements below:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be at least 3 years old by September 1 at 12:01 a.m.
  • Have current immunization records
  • Have birth certificate
  • Live in Moriarty-Edgewood School District
  • Be toilet trained

Girls Basketball Camp June 3 -5, 2013The high school basketball program will be hosting a girls basketball camp for girls in 1st through 6th grade. The camp will be June 3, 4, and 5 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the high school gym. Please view this flier for additional information.

 

 


Child Find

Do you know a family with a child that:

  • Resides within the Moriarty-Edgewood School District boundaries
  • Is between the ages of 3-21 years
  • May attend MESD, a private school, is home-schooled, or not currently in school
  • You suspect has a developmental delay or disability

Then:

  • Refer the family or make the contact today for more information regarding a free screening
