 Superintendent's MessageWelcome to the Moriarty –Edgewood School District, the vibrant, eastern neighbor adjoining the Albuquerque, New Mexico metro-plex. MESD encompasses 1,000 square miles of the beautiful east mountains and Estancia Valley stretching along Interstate 40 from Sedillo Hill to Clines Corners and serving families in the tri-counties of Bernalillo, Santa Fe and Torrance. MESD currently enrolls 2500 students in pre-K through 12 th grade housed in three K-5 elementary schools, two 6-8 grade middle schools, and a comprehensive 9-12 high school which offers a solid core curriculum as well as a variety of Advanced Placement and Dual Credit college course opportunities. Through generous local community support over the years, the District has constructed and maintained excellent instructional facilities; has hired and retained an outstanding faculty; and continues to offer a wide array of educational and extracurricular options- including Fine Arts, Vocational and Athletic programming with a strong emphasis on academic rigor, college/career readiness and the integration of technology into our classrooms. We currently support student learning with better than a 1-1 student to computer ratio including labs, mobile carts and enhanced classroom infrastructure.
