It’s no secret that technology is changing the way students learn. Here at Moriarty-Edgewood School District, we firmly believe in supporting technology and using it to our advantage in the classroom.
We also know that using the Internet poses risks as well, which is why we filter the Internet in compliance with The Children's Internet Protection Act to protect our children from inappropriate materials. We encourage parents to help take responsibility at home by overseeing and monitoring your children's online computer use. Being aware of where your child goes on the Internet can greatly minimize any potential risks of being online. We’ve included helpful articles on different ways to help keep your kids safe online as well as helpful tips on how to talk to your children about the benefits and drawbacks of technology.
Moriarty-Edgewood School District provides students with network accounts. These accounts include a PintoExpress account with Google apps. It includes email, calendars, docs (word processor, spreadsheet, drawing, presentation, website authoring, and a place to store files all on-line) and more. Here are some tutorials on these products:
District employees seeking assistance with technology issues can submit a help ticket on our help desk.
