![]() District Report CardAYP Summary![]() |
![]() Our district consists of five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. While our school district office is located in the town of Moriarty, our schools also serve students in the town of Edgewood. Both of the towns we serve are located along the historic Route 66—one of the original highways connecting the Midwest to the West. Here at Moriarty-Edgewood School District, we expect our faculty and staff to strive for their personal best, and in turn they expect the same of their students. Education and growth is a process, and while we have many successes, there are always areas we can strengthen. Every year the State of New Mexico evaluates our district to see how we measure up against the state standards and charts the growth and improvement of our students based on state exams. We’ve included these district report cards and Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) reports for you at the side of this page. If you ever have any questions about how our district is performing, please give our Learning Services Department a call. We’d be happy to talk with you. Learning Services Ms. Patty Anglin ![]() Because our school district serves two towns, it covers a lot of area. We’ve included a boundary map here for you to reference. This map also shows each elementary school's attendance area as well. Please be aware that the boundaries are not precise. If you live within one mile of the boundaries in the shaded areas on this map, please call our Transportation Department to verify which school your child should attend. Transportation Department: (505) 832-5830. Note: District boundaries to the north of Simmons Road are not located correctly at this time. Boundaries east of US 285 are also not located correctly at this time. |
