We are thrilled to announce that MESD is transitioning to a brand-new Student Information System (SIS) called Synergy! This exciting change is part of a major initiative by the New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED), as all school districts across the state adopt this unified platform to better support student success.
An SIS is the digital backbone of our schools—it’s where you’ll eventually go to check grades, track attendance, update emergency contacts, and communicate with teachers. By moving to Synergy alongside the rest of New Mexico, our district will benefit from a more modern, streamlined, and secure system.
🛑 Important Next Steps: Hold Tight!
While we are incredibly excited for this statewide launch, the Synergy parent portal is not accessible just yet.
Right now, our district's tech and learning services teams are working hard behind the scenes. We are meticulously migrating data, testing features, and ensuring everything is securely configured so that your first login is seamless and user-friendly.
What you need to know right now:
No action is needed from you today. You do not need to create an account or download any apps yet.
We’ve got you covered. We will send out step-by-step instructions, login credentials, and helpful user guides as soon as the system is fully ready for our families.
Expect updates soon. Keep an eye out for an official launch date and registration details in the coming weeks.

Thirteen students from Moriarty High School and Moriarty Middle School competed in the 2nd Annual Inclusion Athletes Event (Special Olympics) today. They were supported by several MHS student volunteers and amazing staff who helped make the day such a success for our athletes.
